Transneft Western Siberia has started commercial operation of a new information system for regulatory documents management (ISRDM).
The use of the ISRDM will speed up the process of data exchange with the Industrial Automation Centre (IAC) of Transneft Upper Volga, which supplies specialised equipment to Transneft subsidiaries. In particular, the time for working with equipment documentation will be also reduced.
The new system will be used by employees of the automated process control systems section (APCS), the software and hardware and metrological support sections.
The ISRDM is a domestic development. The system provides for the ability of users to work with a wide range of electronic documentation: design, software, permits, operational documents. Previously, the IAC sent documentation to Transneft Western Siberia on paper, which required the organisation of places for their storage. The ISRDM allows to store a large volume of documents in a single electronic fund. Employees will also be able to process and check documentation sets in electronic form with the ability to leave comments and clarifications.
The introduction of the new information systems and hardware and software systems into production and business processes allows Transneft Western Siberia to effectively control the implementation of strategic production tasks. Among them is the fulfillment of tasks on technical upgrading, revamping, construction, as well as on the operating facilities inspection and the materials and equipment supply.
The equipment produced and supplied by the Industrial Automation Centre allows to control the process of oil and petroleum products transportation. In 2021, in the context of the APCS, the centre will supply 17 pieces of equipment to Transneft Western Siberia, including telemetry cabinets, data exchange cabinets and oil compounding automation systems.
