Transneft Western Siberia has finished the construction of the firehouse at the Sokur line operation dispatcher station (LODS) in Novosibirsk Region.
The work was carried out as part of the comprehensive programme for revamping the Sokur LODS’s onsite facilities. A parking for special-purpose firefighting vehicles was equipped in the building of the new firehouse. In addition to a garage, a repair bay, rooms for dispatchers and instructors, bays for storage, repair and maintenance of equipment and materials were also provided in the building.
Comfortable working conditions for 60 employees with the possibility of round-the-clock duty and carrying out the duties of monitoring the fire safety of the operating facility were created at the new firehouse. The location of the firehouse on the territory of the station ensures a high level of response promptness.
The Sokur LODS receives petroleum products from the Omsk – Sokur petroleum products trunk pipeline and carries out subsequent shipment of petroleum products by railway transport, as well as delivery of them to the Sokur oil depot. The comprehensive programme for revamping of the station’s onsite facilities is designed for six years: from 2018 to 2022.
