The Central Production Service Shop (CPSS) of Transneft Western Siberia has manufactured more than 7,000 units of specialised products for the oil pipeline industry in the first half of the year.
The products of the shop are intended for repair, construction and revamping works at oil and petroleum products pipeline transportation facilities.
The range of manufactured products includes rubber-cord sealing plugs, batching pigs and their components, shot blasting machines, handheld mixers, wedge gate valve pressure compensators, devices for blocking the inner cavity of trunk pipelines. The cost of the manufactured products amounted to more than RUB 342 million.
In addition, in the period from January to June, specialists of the shop monitored the repairability and conducted technical diagnostics of 115 stop valves installed at facilities of Transneft Western Siberia, Transneft Druzhba and Chernotransneft. Also, overhaul of 10 sliding gate valves and wedge gate valves with installation of pressure compensators was performed.
In total, the range of products manufactured by the Central Production Service Shop includes 278 units. CPSS products are in demand among Transneft subsidiaries and third-party enterprises. "The oil pipeline system’s only division that determines the repairability of stop valves is established at the CPSS, and the results of its work help make conclusions about feasibility of equipment overhaul," says Dmitry Khrychev, Acting Chief Engineer of Transneft Western Siberia.
