On 1 July 2020, Transneft Western Siberia completely integrated Transneft Central Siberia (Tomsk) following the results of the reorganisation procedure.
Transneft Central Siberia ceased to operate as a separate legal entity. Transneft Western Siberia established a new branch, the Tomsk Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate (RPD), whose area of responsibility covers facilities located in four districts of Tomsk Region.
The Alexandrovskoye – Anzhero-Sudzhensk and the Igolsko-Talovoye – Parabel oil trunk pipelines with the total length of 1,076.7 km were transferred to the Tomsk RPD management. The RPD structure includes five oil pumping stations: the Orlovka, Molchanovo, Pervomayka, Parabel and Luginetskaya stations.
In addition, Tomsk Plant of Electric Drives (TOMZEL) became a subsidiary of Transneft Western Siberia as a result of the reorganisation.
The reorganisation was carried out to optimise management, operational and logistics processes related to operation of the oil pipeline transportation facilities, as well as to reduce operating costs.
