The attendees of the event included Maksim Grishanin, First Vice President of Transneft, and Sergey Andronov, Vice President of Transneft.
Transneft Western Siberia was praised for its results in the field of commodities and transportation (CTO), dispatching of oil and petroleum products, as well as metrology. The Company received a diploma for solid performance in the field of petroleum products metering in 2017 and a winner’s cup for the integrated work of its commodities and transportation, dispatching, and metrology business units. Furthermore, Dmitry Khrychev, Acting Chief Engineer of Transneft Western Siberia and Deputy Director General for CTO, received a personal gift for significant contribution to the management of business processes to ensure uninterrupted transportation of oil and petroleum products in the regions covered by Transneft Western Siberia.
According to Dmitry Khrychev, Deputy Director General for CTO, Transneft Western Siberia is currently actively modernising the infrastructure of its trunk pipeline systems for oil and petroleum products. "To improve the quality and effectiveness of our services, we introduce new methods of metering and quality control for oil and petroleum products, as well as widely use automation tools for management and production processes, including an automated operative oil accounting system, an automated contract performance system for the supply of petroleum products, and a corporate system for managing laboratory information," he said.
Transneft Western Siberia pays great attention to the implementation of its Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul Programme for production facilities. This approach also allows to improve the quality of oil and petroleum products transportation services. Thus, a tank car on-spot loading rack will be constructed within the comprehensive revamping programme of Sokur LODS onsite facilities. Moreover, the implementation of the unified supervisory control system (USCS) has been launched this year. The new system will enable centralized control over the entire trunk pipeline network in the regions of the Company's presence.
Among other indicators that show Transneft Western Siberia’s performance in terms of oil and petroleum products turnover plans, one can mention the Company’s full compliance with the plans for the received and delivered volumes.
As for metrology, the main advantages included strict control over maintenance of the Oil Quantity and Quality Metering Systems (OQQMSs), timely commissioning of the new OQQMSs, absence of major violations at the pipeline metering station based on the results of inspections and monitoring, as well as proper verification of metering instruments at the production sites of the Company. When constructing a OQQMS, modern domestic information processing systems are used to ensure reliable metering operations.
